For strategy tips for Tiny Monsters, at least.
Herein lies the last of the posts of hints and tips on Tiny Monsters by TinyCo, where we look at maximizing coin-making opportunities in TM from Large Habitats.
To be redundant, once again, let me reiterate that there really isn't an optimal choice here - it's all about personal preference and how eager you are to grab coins throughout the day in the game. The "Max Amt In?" column tells you, in Minutes, how long it will take you to accumulate the most amount of Coins with maximum allowed number of Monsters (at Level 10).
Habitat | Max Coins Lg Hab | Monster Max Pop | Max Amt In? | Max Monster Coin Prod |
Earth | 7,500 | 4 | 62.5 | 30 |
Fire | 900 | 4 | 2.8 | 81 |
Plant | 2,000 | 3 | 10.1 | 66 |
Ice | 3,400 | 3 | 37.8 | 30 |
Water | 2,000 | 4 | 8.6 | 58 |
Electric | 1,400 | 4 | 4.8 | 73 |
Air | 2,600 | 3 | 10.8 | 80 |
Light | ? | ? | ? | 78 |
Shadow | ? | ? | ? | 38 |
Earth Habitats are clearly your cash cow, but they accumulate coins at a relatively glacial pace, especially when compared to Fire or Electric. If you have the patience to harvest coins every 5 minutes, you can make the same amount as an maxed-out Earth Habitat in less than 25 minutes with a Large Electric Habitat.
You will notice there is no information for Light or Shadow with regard to Large Habitats. I am currently at Level 38, and these Habitats are simply still not available to build. Perhaps it's a Level 40 reward. But given the ridiculous amounts of food you need to feed Light or Shadow monsters to level-up (12,000+ food per level by Level 8 or so), I don't relish the time investment to get to Lvl 10 with several of these two monster types. Just one Light monster took the better part of 2 weeks to feed to reach it's max Level.
Thus endeth the Tiny Monsters Lecture Series™. There will be a pop-quiz later this week.
Coming up tomorrow : a look at Kingdom Rush by Ironhide Games.
